Droplets!

With a cup of tea in hand, I looked at the sky, askance. The cloud and the sun rays are playing peak a boo, and I am a referee, as if! The evening is setting in fast, faster than the tea! Few raindrops and the sylvan smell and the woody rapture drenched my mind! The tea is getting cold and I mopped it up with a single sip. The sudden shower, albeit short-lived, left a taste of the coming months. Weather forecasters, these days, are busy predicting the monsoon timings like any other year. Oh, so mechanical is the statement, I realized! Rain is more than a forecast, weather vane, power cuts and waterlogging for me, you see. It is a way to water my dreams and fuel my romantic thought process. It helps me make candid confessions to myself that I could have never done otherwise. Rain allows me to go carefully careless, unabashed! Nevertheless, I forgot it is Hyderabad, hot like an oven in summer season. The raindrops broke all d shackles and changed the tide even if it is for a short moment, and I loved it all. I am still standing at the balcony, but the sky is clear now. Time to do some work, I thought. It is the beginning of a perfect evening. I looked at the watch and I was standing there for almost an hour! Let the rain arrive in its full flow now. I just can’t wait!
